About the KSO
Auditions
We are always looking for musicians who enjoy bringing music alive through an inspiring repertoire, in a high quality orchestra. Rehearsals are held weekly, on Mondays from 7:15 p.m to 10:00 p.m. in the Old Unionville Library Centre (Kennedy Rd. and HWY 7).
We currently have available chairs for violinists, violists, and cellists. There is no membership fee to join the orchestra. We also provide music stands and serve light refreshments, for each rehearsal.
The Audition Process
The audition consists of playing one piece (own choice) and an orchestral excerpt (own choice).
We also invite advanced students to join the orchestra.
