Daniel Bedrossian

Daniel Bedrossian was born in 1998 in Toronto. His passion for music and singing sparked when he was 4, after watching The Sound of Music. The following year he asked his parents to sign him up for music lessons and begun studying violin and piano. At the age of 6, he was accepted at the Toronto Children‘s Chorus where he discovered his passion for singing. In December 2010, he performed a solo as the Child in Ruth Watson Henderson's The Last Straw on the stage of Roy Thompson Hall alongside the tenor Darryl Edwards. As a member of the Toronto Children Chorus Touring Choir, Daniel partcipated last summer in the South American Music Festival in Rio de Janeiro and Buenos Aires and the 9th World Choral Symposium in Puerto Madryn, Argentina. In September, he and the choir took part in three concerts to open the Toronto Symphony Orchestra's 90th season, performing William Walton's Henry V, narrated by Christopher Plummer and the premiere of Larysa Kuzmenko's Behold the Night under the baton of Peter Oundjian. In April, Daniel will tour with the choir to Stockholm, Sweden. Daniel speaks fluently English, French and Armenian.
